Today's song entitled "You Are My Sunshine" was written on January 30, 1940, "You Are My Sunshine" was copyrighted by Jimmie Davis and Charles Mitchell and published by Southern Music Publishing Co., Inc. of New York. The pair recorded the song on February 5, 1940, at Decca Studios in New York.
Two groups originally from the Atlanta area were the first to record “You Are My Sunshine,” both during the latter half of 1939. First of these was the Pine Ridge Boys, an old-time, close-harmony, two-guitars-with-yodels duo made up of Doug Spivey and Marvin Taylor; they recorded it for Bluebird (B-8263) on August 22.
“You Are My Sunshine” is often called “heartwarming”, but a close look at the lyrics after the first verse shows that they're better described as “heartbreaking”. It's about unrequited love. This song has enjoyed enduring popularity for nine decades.

Lyrics
You are my sunshine My only sunshine You make me happy When skies are gray You'll never know, dear How much I love you Please don't take My sunshine away
The other night, dear As I lay sleeping I dreamed I held you In my arms When I awoke, dear I was mistaken So I hung my head and I cried
You are my sunshine My only sunshine You make me happy When skies are gray You'll never know, dear How much I love you Please don't take My sunshine away
The song Enemy by Imagine Dragons, in a press release, the band's vocalist Dan Reynolds explained: "'Enemy' is about reconciling internal conflict in a world where it feels impossible to trust even yourself. In Arcane, two sisters' lives take them on different paths and leads to a division that threatens to tear an entire city apart.
Imagine Dragons brought their Las Vegas-tinged brand of theatrical pop rock to The Tonight Show Tuesday with a performance of “Enemy.” The standalone single is the theme song for the Netflix animated series Arcane, which is inspired by the massively popular multiplayer online video game, League of Legends.

Look out for yourself
I wake up to the sounds of the silence that allows For my mind to run around with my ear up to the ground I'm searching to behold the stories that are told When my back is to the world that was smiling when I turned
Tell you, you're the greatest But once you turn, they hate us
Oh, the misery Everybody wants to be my enemy Spare the sympathy Everybody wants to be my enemy
Look out for yourself My enemy
Look out for yourself But I'm ready
Your words up on the wall as you're praying for my fall And the laughter in the halls And the names that I've been called I stack it in my mind and I'm waiting for the time When I show you what it's like to be words spit in a mic
Tell you, you're the greatest But once you turn, they hate us (ha)
Oh, the misery Everybody wants to be my enemy Spare the sympathy Everybody wants to be my enemy
Look out for yourself My enemy (yeah)
Look out for yourself
Uh, look, okay I'm hoping that somebody pray for me I'm praying that somebody hope for me I'm staying where nobody 'posed to be Posted, being a wreck of emotions Ready to go whenever, just let me know The road is long, so put the pedal into the floor The enemy on my trail, my energy unavailable I'ma tell 'em, "Hasta luego"
They wanna plot on my trot to the top I've been outta shape, thinkin' out the box I'm an astronaut, I blasted off the planet rock To cause catastrophe and it matters more because I had it And I had a thought about wreaking havoc on an opposition, kinda shockin' They want a static with precision, I'm automatic quarterback I ain't talking sacking pack it, pack it up, I don't panic, batter-batter up Who the baddest? It don't matter 'cause we at ya throat
Everybody wants to be my enemy Spare the sympathy Everybody wants to be my enemy Oh, the misery Everybody wants to be my enemy Spare the sympathy Everybody wants to be my enemy (I swear)
Pray it away, I swear, I never be a saint, no way My enemy Pray it away, I swear, I never be a saint Look out for yourself
Selamat Hari Raya (Happy Eid Song) is written and composed by Indra Shahrir Ismail. This one is for the child in every one of us. As a young boy in the 1960s, music arranger Indra Shahrir Ismail recorded this song about Hari Raya as seen through the eyes of a child. Written by his brother, the late composer Iskandar Ismail, it’s a song about seeking forgiveness from one’s elders, visiting friends of different races, wearing new clothes and shoes, enjoying great food—and of course, rejoicing that it’s a school holiday. A catchy number that has endured through the generations.

Lyrics:
Marilah bergembira Bersama menikmati hari raya Mintak mak kuih sepotong Saya mahu makan kerna perut kosong
