He's Got The Whole World In His Hands islike other folk spirituals, the exact origin of “He's Got the Whole World in His Hands” is unknown. Whether created extemporaneously by one slave or by a community of slaves, this spiritual's earliest known written reference is in “Spirituals Triumphant Old and New,” compiled by Edward Boatner in 1927.
Frank Warner performed the song during the 1940s and 1950s, and introduced it to the American folk scene. Warner recorded it on the Elektra album American Folk Songs and Ballads in 1952. It was quickly picked up by both American gospel singers and British skiffle and pop musicians.

"10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord, O my soul)" is a worship song co-written by the English Christian singer-songwriter Matt Redman and the Swedish songwriter Jonas Myrin, first recorded by Redman for his 10,000 Reasons album, released in 2011 on Kingsway Music, and subsequently included on a number of compilations, covered by other artists and included as congregational worship music in English or in translation around the world. Is the Sugar music video real? The truth is, the video, which was directed by David Dobkin, of Wedding Crashers fame, is a bit of both. USA Today reports that there are at least "two weddings featured in the video that were really real." So, some were definitely real, as were some of the expressions on participants' faces.

This Popular Chinese Pop Song was written in 2012 by Wanting Qu (Chinese: 曲婉婷; pinyin: Qū Wǎntíng; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: khek óan têng; born October 10, 1984), known simply as Wanting, is a Chinese-born singer-songwriter and pianist who is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, currently.
Wanting Qu was born and raised in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China, where her mother Zhang Mingjie [zh] worked as a city official. She moved to Canada at 16 to study, eventually earning a degree in international business, and relocated to Vancouver where she began her musical career.[3]
In 2013, she became the first ever tourism ambassador for Vancouver, with the intention of raising Canada's profile among destinations for Chinese visitors.[9]
The song "Star in You" from the album Everything in the World was featured in Degrassi: The Next Generation in the episode "Bitter Sweet Symphony, Part II" on February 22, 2013.[11]
